Back for a third year, bigger and better, Blakeley’s have teamed up with 102.4 Wish FM for the Christmas Toy Appeal, ensuring that local underprivileged children aren’t without presents this Christmas. Listeners of Wish FM in the Wigan and St. Helens area are being asked to dig deep and purchase an extra present this year to bring Christmas cheer to those who are less fortunate than themselves. Blakeley’s Managing Director Stephen Blakeley commented that; ‘Our partnership with Wish FM for The Christmas Toy Appeal has been a great success for the last two years, and it is truly touching to see how much local people care about the scheme and how much support it has received. Christmas is full of family, friendship and celebration for most people, but for those children who are less fortunate; the Toy Appeal brings a smile to their faces at an often tough time of the year.’

For those wishing to spread the goodwill and cheer this year, donated presents can be dropped off in the red Blakeley’s bins that are in place at the toy store Smyth’s at the Ravenhead Retail Park branch in St. Helens and the Robin Retail Park in Wigan. Presents can also be donated at the receptions at Wish FM and Blakeley’s.
