Blakeley’s Managing Director, Stephen Blakeley, helps deliver Christmas presents
in partnership with Wish FM Radio.

Blakeley’s Waste Management as the proud, main sponsor of Wish FM radio’s 2009 Toy Appeal, would like to thank everyone that supported this very worthwhile cause, especially those that donated a gift.

The annual campaign commenced at the beginning of December and asked Wish FM radio listeners to buy one additional gift for children who receive little or nothing at Christmas.

Over the course of the month, vast amounts of presents and gifts were donated. They were then distributed to children throughout the Northwest, just in time for Christmas.

Blakeley’s Managing Director, Stephen Blakeley explained, “we have to remember that not all children wake up on Christmas day with Christmas presents.” He continued, “the generosity of the local community has been fantastic. I would personally like to thank everyone that donated, your generosity has made a real difference.”
